About Us:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Locum Social Worker to join the Advice and Wellbeing Hub on a six-month contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident Social Worker to play a key role in reducing waiting lists and ensuring residents receive timely, effective interventions.
You will work in a fast-paced environment, managing a varied and complex caseload while completing robust assessments, managing risk, and making sound professional decisions. You will need to be organized, resilient and confident working independently, while always maintaining a person-centered, strengths-based approach.
The Role:
As a Social Worker within the Hub, you will:
- Manage a complex and varied caseload of adults and carers.
- Complete comprehensive assessments and identify appropriate support and interventions.
- Undertake robust risk assessments and develop effective risk management plans.
- Make confident, evidence-based professional decisions.
- Provide short-term interventions focused on promoting independence and wellbeing.
- Work collaboratively with individuals, families, carers and partner agencies.
- Identify strengths, resources and community-based solutions.
- Respond effectively to changing and complex circumstances.
- Contribute to reducing waiting lists and improving access to timely support.
- Maintain accurate, high-quality case records and documentation.
- Work in accordance with relevant legislation, safeguarding procedures and professional standards.
