Advanced Practitioner needed for our Safeguarding Team in Lincolnshire, paying £40 ph! Hybrid Working!

About the Role:
Lincolnshire is seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join the Safeguarding team covering the South Kesteven East District.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced frontline Social Worker to take responsibility for cases from initial referral through to closure, providing continuity for children and families throughout their journey. Where required, you will progress cases through Child in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP) and Care Proceedings, without a change of Social Worker.
Key Responsibilities
As a Children's Social Worker, you will:
- Manage a varied caseload from referral through to completion and closure.
- Complete assessments of children and families where safeguarding concerns have been identified.
- Undertake Section 47 investigations and respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns.
- Support children subject to Child in Need and Child Protection Plans.
- Prepare high-quality assessments, reports and evidence for private and public law proceedings.
- Progress cases through CIN, CP and Care Proceedings where required.
- Work collaboratively with children, families and partner agencies to promote positive outcomes.
- Maintain responsibility for cases throughout the child's journey, providing consistency and continuity of Social Worker.
- Undertake visits and respond to new cases as part of the duty rota.
Requirements
You will need:
- A recognised Social Work qualification and current Social Work England registration.
- At least 3 years' post-qualifying experience in a permanent frontline safeguarding role.
- Strong experience of child protection and safeguarding practice.
- Experience undertaking Section 47 investigations.
- Experience working with CIN and CP plans.
- Experience preparing reports and assessments for court proceedings.
- The ability to manage a caseload independently from referral through to closure.
- Strong assessment, analytical, report-writing and decision-making skills.
- The ability to work effectively with children, families and multi-agency professionals.
- A commitment to achieving positive outcomes for children and young people.
