About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join a Safeguarding Team in Bracknell. This role focuses on frontline safeguarding work, supporting children and families where there are concerns around safety and wellbeing. You will be part of a dynamic team delivering high-quality interventions and ensuring children are protected and supported through effective assessment and planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload focused on safeguarding and child protection
- Undertake risk assessments and develop robust care and safety plans
- Work in partnership with multi-agency professionals to safeguard children
- Attend and contribute to child protection conferences and reviews
- Maintain accurate, timely, and high-quality case records
- Ensure the child’s voice is central to all decision-making
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Social Worker with strong safeguarding experience
- Ability to manage complex child protection cases
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Must live within a commutable distance of Bracknell for emergency travel
- Willingness to work office-based 3–4 days per week
