About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Qualified Adult Mental Health Social Worker to join a busy Adults Social Care team in Wolverhampton on a short-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practitioner to make an immediate impact supporting adults with mental health needs. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred social work, supporting individuals to achieve positive outcomes and maintain independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake comprehensive assessments of adults with mental health needs
- Develop, implement, and review care and support plans
- Carry out risk assessments and safeguarding enquiries
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and partner agencies
- Support service users through recovery-focused and strengths-based approaches
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records
- Participate in duty work and respond to urgent cases
