Qualified Social Worker needed for our Intake Team in Hounslow, paying £39 ph! Team : Intake Team Role : Qualified Social Worker Rate : £39ph About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Social Worker to join the Intake Team within Children’s Services in Hounslow. This is a key front‑line role, working at the point of contact to ensure timely decision‑making and appropriate support for children and families. You will be part of a busy and supportive team responsible for screening, assessing, and progressing referrals to ensure children receive the right level of intervention at the right time. Key Responsibilities: Manage a caseload of approximately 25 children. Undertake timely screening, assessments, and decision‑making at the front door of services. Progress referrals appropriately in line with thresholds and safeguarding procedures. Work collaboratively with families, partner agencies, and internal teams to ensure effective outcomes. Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date case records using the LCS system. Participate in duty weeks and support front‑line decision‑making. Ensure all work complies with statutory requirements and safeguarding standards. Requirements: A recognised Social Work qualification and Social Work England registration. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and professionals. Knowledge and experience of using LCS (Liquidlogic Children’s System).
