About the role:
Hull City Council is seeking an experienced and passionate Fostering Social Worker to join our dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and foster families in the local community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake assessments and support foster carers, ensuring high standards of care and safeguarding. Participate in recruitment, training, and supervision of foster carers. Manage a caseload of fostering households and ensure compliance with national regulations. Prepare reports for panel meetings, reviews, and court proceedings where necessary. Work collaboratively with children’s social workers, health professionals, and education providers.
