About the Role:
Plymouth City Council is urgently seeking an experienced Social Worker to join their frontline Children’s Services team. This is a high-paying locum opportunity ideal for someone confident in managing complex cases and delivering high-impact outcomes for children and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse caseload involving Child Protection, Children in Need, and Court Work.Undertake high-quality assessments, develop care plans, and provide direct support to children and families.Work within statutory frameworks and multi-agency settings to ensure safeguarding and well-being.Contribute to timely and effective decision-making as part of a supportive team.
