Tripod are currently recruiting for a Senior Occupational Therapaist to work in Hull.

Paying up to £40 an hour

Working Hours – Full time preferred

Duration : ASAP – Ongoing

  • Occupational Therapy is an integral element of Adult Social Care, ensuring that individuals can maintain their independence and live life to the fullest in their own homes. Occupational Therapy input is available across Adult Social Care, working closely with Social Care colleagues and with health professionals to support individuals to help themselves through realising their own goals and improving their wellbeing. To apply the principals of Rights based inclusive practice, which is anti-oppressive, anti-racist and anti-discriminatory. As a Specialist Occupational Therapist the role will support the understanding and application of emerging evidence regarding a trauma informed approach to people accessing adult social care whilst defining the approach that envisions Hull as a trauma informed city.
  • To provide an Occupational Therapy Service which enables people to maintain or achieve optimum functional ability, resilience and independence. The post holder will allocate cases to OT / OTAs and monitor performance, including the timely and accurate completion of case records. The post holder will monitor and report performance as required. The post-holder will undertake joint assessments and reviews as suitable. To use solution focussed conversations and agree goals with people as part of a proportionate assessment process. Where appropriate to contribute to or lead on the statutory assessment and review of individuals’ care and support needs under the Care Act 2014.
