Senior Social Worker – Family Support Team

Milton Keynes is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join their Family Support Team, working with complex children and families.
You will take responsibility for complex Child Protection and court cases, using advanced social work knowledge to manage risk and achieve positive outcomes for children.
Key responsibilities:

Manage complex Child Protection and court cases

Complete analytical assessments, care plans and court reports

Make professional recommendations around children's safety and wellbeing

Represent the Local Authority in public and private law proceedings

Attend court and give evidence where required

Support effective multi-agency safeguarding

Provide mentoring and reflective support to Social Workers and students
-
Support managers with case oversight and quality assurance
Requirements:

Qualified Social Worker with SWE registration
-
Strong experience in children's social care
-
Significant Child Protection and court experience
-
Confident undertaking complex assessments and proceedings

Strong communication and partnership-working skills
Rate: £38 per hour
