Role Overview
- We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join the Luton Inpatient Acute Mental Health Service.
- In this role, you will provide specialist Occupational Therapy assessment and interventions for adults within the unit, supporting recovery through person-centred, goal-focused practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver specialist OT assessments and interventions using tools based on the Model of Human Occupation (MOHO).
- Support individuals in achieving goals across self-care, productivity, and leisure.
- Contribute to effective discharge planning through comprehensive assessment and collaborative care planning.
- Deliver 1:1 sessions, group interventions, and community-focused support.
- Work as part of a well-established multi-disciplinary team to enhance and develop the OT programme both on the ward and within community pathways.

- Regular managerial and professional supervision.
