You’ll work within a Children & Families Team, supporting children and young people through a range of statutory responsibilities. This is a dynamic, rewarding role where you’ll build relationships, manage risk, and ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake assessments in line with GIRFEC principles
- Manage a caseload including Child Protection, CIN, and Looked After Children
- Develop and review care plans and interventions
- Carry out risk assessments and safeguarding work
- Work closely with families, carers, and multi‑agency partners
- Attend and contribute to case conferences and reviews
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date case records
- Qualified Social Worker
- Registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC)
- Recent experience within Children & Families / Safeguarding teams
- Strong knowledge of child protection legislation and practice in Scotland
- Confident managing complex caseloads
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
