Tripod Partners is recruiting Educational Psychologists to support a Local Authority on a fully remote, locum basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced EP looking for flexible, well-paid assessment work that fits around existing commitments.
You will be completing statutory assessments and writing high-quality reports to inform Education, Health and Care (EHC) needs assessments - all from home, with no site attendance required.
- Pay: £1,200 per completed assessment
- Each assessment is estimated at approximately 2 days work
- Flexible volume - take on as many or as few assessments as suit your availability
- Fully remote working
What’s Involved:
- Conducting educational psychology assessments for children and young people
- Writing clear, jargon-free reports accessible to non-specialist readers (e.g. parents/carers), with acronyms spelled out in full
- Representing the views and aspirations of the child/young person and their parents/carers throughout the report
- Clearly describing strengths, needs, and provision identifying where needs go beyond what’s available through Quality First Teaching or reasonable adjustments
- Providing a clear psychological formulation linking identified needs
- For Year 5/6 or Year 9+ pupils, considering transition planning or Preparation for Adulthood as relevant
- Submitting reports for Quality Assurance
