Children's Social Worker needed for the Assessment and Intervention Team in Lincolnshire, paying up to £40 ph!
- Location: Grantham, Lincolnshire
- Salary: £40 per hour
- Position: Full-Time, Temporary/Contract
- Working Pattern: Hybrid - in office five days a week in the duty week, two to three days in office in the other weeks
About The Role: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Children's Social Worker to join a supportive and established Assessment & Intervention Team based in Grantham. This role offers the opportunity to work with children and families throughout their journey, providing continuity and relationship-based practice from referral through to case closure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a varied caseload from referral through to closure.
- Undertake assessments and develop effective intervention plans.
- Complete Child in Need, Child Protection, and Court work where required.
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
- Prepare high-quality assessments, reports, and court documentation.
- Maintain accurate and timely case recordings.
Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker (Degree, DipSW, CQSW or equivalent).
- Current registration with the relevant professional body.
- Experience within Children's Services, including CIN, CP, and Care Proceedings.
- Strong assessment, safeguarding, and care planning skills.
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively within a team environment.
