About: We are currently recruiting for an experienced Adults Social Worker to join a busy and supportive team based in Lewes. This is an initial 6‑month contract covering maternity leave, with the possibility of extension. The team is looking for a confident and capable practitioner with strong statutory experience who can hit the ground running and manage a varied caseload effectively.
Key Requirements:
- Strong experience within Adults Services
- Sound understanding of:
- Care Act Assessments
- Mental Capacity Assessments
- Safeguarding
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 25 cases
- Must be a car driver due to the rural nature of the area and community visits
