Children's Social Worker needed for the Assessment and Intervention Team in Lincolnshire, paying up to £40 per hour!

Location: Grantham, Lincolnshire

Salary: £40 per hour

Position: Full-Time, Temporary/Contract

Working Pattern: Hybrid - in office five days a week in the duty week, two to three days in office in the other weeks

About The Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Children's Social Worker to join a supportive and established Assessment & Intervention Team based in Grantham. This role offers the opportunity to work with children and families throughout their journey, providing continuity and relationship-based practice from referral through to case closure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a varied caseload from referral through to closure.
  • Undertake assessments and develop effective intervention plans.
  • Complete Child in Need, Child Protection, and Court work where required.
  • Work collaboratively with partner agencies to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
  • Prepare high-quality assessments, reports, and court documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and timely case recordings.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker (Degree, DipSW, CQSW or equivalent).
  • Current registration with the relevant professional body.
  • Experience within Children's Services, including CIN, CP, and Care Proceedings.
  • Strong assessment, safeguarding, and care planning skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively within a team environment.
