We are working with a hospital in the Sydney Region, New South Wales that is seeking a General Practitioner to join their busy JMO team.
The program has general rotations, with an emphasis on the unique opportunity to develop skills across different areas of medicine.
Be mentored and work alongside experienced clinicians in a diverse spectrum of medical and surgical specialties.
Attend theatre and further develop surgical skills with dedicated in-house training facilities.
The Clinic:
- This long-established medical centre is much loved in the local community.
- Each General Practitioner has their own dedicated room, set up to your preference.
- Pathology and imaging on-site.
- You will be supported by a long-running and much-loved nursing team.
- The treatment room is nurse-led, with all care delivered in partnership with GPs.
- The state-of-the-art procedure room is co-located with sub-specialty GP rooms for skin, women’s health, and men’s health, equipped with specialist kit, and supported by a treatment room nurse.
This is a Distribution Priority Area (DPA) location, so is suitable for Substantially Comparable doctors on the Expedited Pathway and RACGP PEP Specialist Pathway (Substantial).
You will be an enthusiastic doctor who is committed to clinical care. You will be keen to work in an innovative multidisciplinary environment and be passionate about providing patient-centred care.
Communication of the patient’s assessment and management plan with the medical staff and other members of the team providing care to the patient.
Liaise and work effectively with allied health professionals involved in patient care including the broader care team.
Participate in multidisciplinary clinical supervision, training and education in patient care environments.
National Criminal Record Check will be completed as part of onboarding.
Immunisation and Vaccinations Check.
