Role: Adults Social Worker
Location: Gloucestershire
Pay Rate: £35ph
Working Pattern: Attendance at the Gloucester office required three days per week.
About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Social Worker to join the Adults Safeguarding Team. This is an excellent opportunity for a practitioner with experience in Adult Social Care and safeguarding to play a key role in supporting safeguarding decision-making and protecting vulnerable adults across Gloucestershire. The successful candidate will undertake an initial office-based induction for the first two weeks before moving to a hybrid working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities
- Qualified Social Worker with a recognised Social Work qualification.
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Previous experience within Adult Social Care.
- Strong safeguarding experience, including screening, risk assessment, and safeguarding decision-making.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Care Act 2014 and safeguarding duties.
- Excellent assessment, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a busy safeguarding team.
