Fostering Social Worker required to join Medway – Paying £38ph!
Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the first point of contact for prospective foster carers, managing enquiries and the Stage 1 recruitment process.Conduct initial assessments and staging, home visits, and provide timely responses to applications.Complete high‑quality Form F assessments, including safeguarding, placement matching, and risk planning.Support recruitment events and marketing initiatives to engage potential foster carers.Collaborate with your line manager to monitor enquiries, applications, and progression through the fostering process.Maintain professional standards and comply with statutory timescales.Work within an Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ authority, contributing to positive outcomes through robust analytical and evidence-based practice.Essential Qualifications & ExperienceQualified social worker (CQSW / DipSW / Degree in Social Work or equivalent)Registered with Social Work EnglandDemonstrable post-qualification experience working with children and families, including fostering or statutory care casesFull UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for home visits
