Tripod Partners are currently recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to join the Families First β Initial Support Team within a well-established Local Authority.

The Role
You'll be responsible for managing a varied caseload of children and families at the front door of Children's Services, completing assessments, identifying levels of need and risk, and ensuring children receive the right support at the earliest opportunity.
Working closely with partner agencies, you'll play a vital role in safeguarding children and promoting positive outcomes through timely, strengths-based interventions.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake Child & Family Assessments.
- Complete Section 17 and Section 47 enquiries where required.
- Manage a complex caseload effectively.
- Work in partnership with schools, health professionals, police and other agencies.
- Prepare clear, high-quality reports and assessments.
- Ensure children and families receive timely and appropriate support.
- Maintain accurate case recordings and comply with statutory timescales.
