Qualified Social Worker needed for our MASH team in Doncaster, paying up to £35 per hour.

We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join the Multi‑Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) in Doncaster. This role is key to delivering a high‑quality, timely safeguarding response for children, young people and families at the point of referral.

About the role:

To provide a local, professional social care service for children, young people and families in need, ensuring effective decision‑making, early identification of risk, and proportionate intervention to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Screen, triage and assess referrals within a MASH setting
  • Contribute to both voluntary and statutory social work interventions
  • Undertake professional social work tasks in line with legislation, policy, and evidence‑based practice
  • Manage a caseload of children who are:
    • Children in Need
    • At risk of significant harm
    • Looked After Children
  • Make informed safeguarding decisions and recommendations
  • Work collaboratively with partner agencies including police, health and education
  • Maintain accurate, timely and high‑quality case records
