The predicted salary is between 40000 - 50000 Β£ per year.
We can be flexible in terms of working patterns, with some roles being remote, whilst other roles will require some on-site presence occasionally, to complete face-to-face work. However, for the right candidates, we are willing to explore how we can be flexible to make this work for you. Candidate must be:
- You must have safeguarding adults practice experience and knowledge and demonstrate a commitment to person-centred working and proportionate best practice.
- Social Worker.
- At least 5 years post-qualifying experience.
- Knowledge and experience of Safeguarding, Mental Capacity Assessments, Best Interests, Deprivation of Liberty, Care Act 2014.
- Able to provide comprehensive and effective management skills and supervision to the team.
- Able to manage the day-to-day waiting lists and reviewing function.
- Able to provide support and guidance to the team and duty function.
- Be able to deputise for team manager as required.
The Devon Safeguarding Adults Service receives and responds to safeguarding adult referrals within the county. We are currently embarking on 2 projects to support capacity and our improvement journey in safeguarding. One project is focused on triage and low-level enquiries and the other on full/more complex enquiries liaising with wider services across Devon where required.
