Working arrangement
Office based during duty week with flexibility to work from home.
Pay rate
£38.52/hr (capped by Mo C). Up to £42.00/hr for ASW level.
Minimum experience
3 years post-qualified experience in direct employment within LA children's social care in England.
Key responsibilities
- Undertake high quality assessments, care planning and child protection investigations.
- Identify risk and needs of vulnerable children and families.
- Ensure children and young people are protected in line with policies, procedures and legislation.
Candidate requirements
- At least 3 years post-qualified experience in LA children's social care.
- Recent front‑line / child protection work.
- Strong assessment skills to identify risk.
- Direct work with children.
- Experience working across multiple agencies.
- Valid driving licence and willingness to drive in the western area.
