This role sits across the Child and Family Assessment Service and Family Support Team. This is a dynamic frontline position requiring confident practitioners who can build strong, effective relationships with children and families during initial statutory involvement, while managing complex and long-term child protection work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete Child and Family Assessments within statutory timescales
- Understand and apply thresholds, risk analysis, and strengths-based practice
- Maintain clear, accurate, and timely case recordings
- Manage complex caseloads including:
- Child Protection Plans
- Child in Need Plans
- Children in Care
