Children's Social Worker needed for our MASH Team in Croydon paying £39 ph!
We are currently recruiting an experienced MASH (Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub) Social Worker to join a busy and supportive team in Croydon. This is an excellent opportunity to work at the frontline of safeguarding, making timely decisions that help protect children and support families.
As part of the MASH Team, you'll work closely with partner agencies to assess referrals, identify risk, and ensure children receive the right intervention at the right time.
Key Responsibilities:- Screen and assess safeguarding referrals received by the MASH.
- Undertake threshold decision-making and risk assessments.
- Liaise with partner agencies, including Police, Health, Education and other safeguarding professionals.
- Gather and analyse information to inform timely decisions.
- Ensure children and families receive the most appropriate level of intervention.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records in line with statutory requirements.
- Contribute to safeguarding strategy discussions and multi-agency meetings.
