An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Band 6 Physiotherapist to join the Therapy Outpatients Team. This role is ideal for a clinician confident in acute medicine who is ready to step into a fast-paced, supportive environment during the winter pressure period.

You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality assessments, supporting timely discharge, and contributing to effective patient flow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide physiotherapy assessment and intervention for patients within the acute medical setting
  • Assess, prescribe, and arrange appropriate mobility equipment
  • Support safe and efficient discharge planning
  • Attend board rounds and collaborate with the MDT to support patient flow
  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based practice across the caseload
  • Potential for weekend cover, depending on staffing levels
Essential Skills & Experience
  • HCPC-registered Physiotherapist
  • Previous acute medical experience at Band 6 or strong Band 5 ready to step up
  • Confident in rapid assessment and decision-making
  • Strong MDT communication and teamwork skills
