About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker to join an Assessment & Intervention Team on a locum basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled social worker looking to take on a challenging and rewarding role, supporting children and families and helping to achieve positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake high-quality assessments of children and families.
- Manage a varied and complex caseload in line with statutory requirements.
- Develop, implement and review effective care plans and interventions.
- Undertake child protection enquiries and contribute to safeguarding planning where required.
- Work collaboratively with children, families and partner agencies.
- Prepare reports and present cases at relevant meetings and reviews.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with legislation, policies and professional standards.
- Support less experienced colleagues and contribute to effective team practice.
- Maintain accurate, timely and comprehensive case records.
