About the Role:
We are looking to recruit an experienced MASH Team Manager to provide strong leadership and management within a multi-agency safeguarding environment.
The IFD acts as a key point of contact for enquiries and referrals relating to children and young people, received from professionals, families and members of the public. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring that referrals are appropriately assessed, triaged and directed to the most suitable service.
Key Responsibilities:
As IFD Team Manager, you will provide effective leadership, management and professional oversight to the team. You will support staff to make sound decisions regarding referrals, ensure effective information sharing and promote strong partnership working across agencies.
You will be expected to:
- Lead and manage the Integrated Front Door team effectively.
- Provide professional oversight and guidance in relation to referrals and safeguarding concerns.
- Ensure referrals are appropriately screened, assessed and triaged.
- Promote effective multi-agency working and communication.
- Provide advice and guidance to professionals, families and members of the public.
- Ensure children and young people are appropriately safeguarded and directed to the right services.
- Support high-quality decision-making and ensure relevant policies, procedures and statutory requirements are followed.
- Develop positive working relationships with partner agencies.
- Support staff development, performance and practice standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement within the IFD/MASH service.
