Qualified Social Worker needed for our Adult / Older Adults Mental Health Team in BANES, Paying £32ph!
Role: Social Worker – Adults
Team: Mental Health
Working Pattern: Office-based 4–5 days per week | Contract
Location: Based at Bath NHS House, Bath
About the role: We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to work across two mental health services: the BaNES Recovery Service and the BaNES Older Adult Community Mental Health Team. This role supports adults with complex mental health and social care needs and offers the opportunity to work closely within multi-disciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete Care Act assessments for individuals with complex needs
- Review placements and packages of care
- Prepare and complete Court of Protection documentation
- Complete Mental Health Act assessments and associated paperwork
- Manage Care Act processes in line with legislation and best practice
- Work collaboratively with NHS partners and other agencies
Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
- Post-qualification experience within Adult Mental Health Social Work
- Strong working knowledge of the Care Act, Mental Health Act, and Court of Protection
- Ability to manage complex cases and work effectively within MDTs
