Role: Social Worker – Adults

Rate: £38 per hour

Contract: Temporary / Locum

About The Role:

  • Carry out Care Act assessments and reviews within the community
  • Support adults with identifying needs, strengths, and appropriate support plans
  • Work collaboratively with service users, families, carers, and partner agencies
  • Promote independence and person-centred practice
  • Maintain accurate and timely case records and assessments
  • Travel across rural areas within Lewes and North Wealden to undertake community visits
  • Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate must be a car user.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be a qualified and registered Social Worker
  • Have at least 2 years’ recent experience working within a similar Adult Social Care or community-based team
  • Have experience completing Care Act assessments and reviews
  • Be confident managing community-based caseloads independently
  • Possess strong communication and assessment skills
  • Be organized, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality support
