Tripod Partners are seeking an experienced Senior Matron to join a busy Theatres and Day Surgery department. This senior leadership role is ideal for someone with a strong clinical background in theatres and proven experience at Matron level or above.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic and operational leadership across Theatres and Day Surgery services
- Oversee clinical standards, patient safety, and quality of care
- Lead, support, and develop multidisciplinary teams
- Drive continuous improvement and service development initiatives
- Ensure effective resource and performance management
Location: Lewisham
Pay Rate: £43.71 per hour
Contract: 3 months initially
Schedule: 4 days per week, 9.5 hours per day (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
Requirements:
- NMC registered with a strong theatre nursing background
- Previous experience working at Matron level or higher
- Demonstrated leadership within an acute hospital setting
- Strong knowledge of governance, workforce planning, and patient safety protocols
- Ability to lead and influence change
