Tripod Partners are looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist with Forensic experience to join a healthcare team in Nottingham. The role involves providing specialist psychiatric care across a Low Secure and Community Forensic Care Unit, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and contributing to the multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Consultant-level psychiatric care within Low Secure and Community Forensic settings.
  • Conduct patient assessments, formulate care plans, and oversee treatment delivery.
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated patient management.
  • Participate in clinical meetings and contribute to the ongoing development of forensic services.

Position Details:

  • Location: Nottingham
  • Duration: Ongoing (start date 01/04/2025, no confirmed end date)
  • Hours: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:00
  • Pay Rate: £94.87 per hour
  • Work Pattern: Monday – Friday

Requirements:

  • Recognised basic medical degree.
  • MRCPsych or equivalent.
  • Full GMC registration.
  • Eligibility for inclusion on the Specialist Register or CCT in Forensic Psychiatry (or General Adult Psychiatry with appropriate forensic experience).
  • Section 12(2) approval and Approved Clinician status.
  • Current DBS clearance.
  • Experience working in forensic settings.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Right to work in the UK.
