As a Senior Game Designer, you will shape the player experience by designing and developing engaging casual puzzle game features and improving core gameplay. You will collaborate with level designers and cross-functional teams to ensure features are fun, balanced and aligned with market trends. This role blends hands-on game design with leadership, requiring you to manage a small team and focus on the casual puzzle market. Your creative vision and data-driven approach will drive the success of titles like Woodoku Blast and future projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the design of game features for the casual puzzle games.
- Manage the level design team, setting standards to review and improve level quality and fun.
- Manage feature development from concept to launch, including iterations, staying hands-on.
- Continuously monitor market trends to suggest new game concepts or features for exploration.
- Collaborate with product, data and analytics teams to use data in design.
- Mentor and lead a small team of level designers.
- Ensure features support business and monetisation goals.
- Proven experience working with casual mobile puzzle games, including prototyping, development and LiveOps.
- Ability to give feedback on level design.
- Experience leading a small team.
- Strong knowledge of casual puzzle game trends and monetisation.
- Hands-on experience managing game feature development.
