We've been assigned by one of the best performing NHS Trusts in the UK to recruit a Consultant in Radiology - Cross Sectional with Head & Neck Interest on either a Substantive or a 12 month NHS Fixed Term basis. Our client is one of the largest NHS Trusts in the West Midlands providing primary, acute and community services. They welcome diversity within their workforce and communities and are building a workforce that can help realise their values, improve quality of care, and solve health care problems of tomorrow.
The Department of Radiology consists of a main department and two satellite units. It offers all radiological modalities except CT/PET, which is sourced from private facilities.
Responsibilities include:
- Teaching and supervision of radiology SpRs assigned to the department.
- Providing clinical teaching for medical students and non‐radiological junior doctors.
- Involvement in Clinical Governance, Risk Management and Clinical Audit.
- General radiology services, including consulting and advisory to clinical colleagues.
- Specialist head and neck imaging services, including image‐guided biopsies and FNAC.
- Participation in multidisciplinary team meetings to maintain high standards of care.
Qualifications:
- MUST have GMC Registration.
