We’re supporting a leading private diagnostics organisation in securing a highly skilled Consultant Cellular Pathologist to join an expanding team at the forefront of personalised medicine and biomarker development.
You’ll work as part of a respected Cellular Pathology team responsible for:
- Detailed histopathological and cytopathological examination of tissue samples
- Reporting and presenting findings to internal project teams and external partners
- Supporting development and validation of novel biomarker assays used in drug discovery
- Maintaining compliance with GCP and laboratory accreditation standards
- Advising on specimen quality and contributing to continuous service improvement
- Optional involvement in clinical research, publications, and client meetings
- Mentoring colleagues and contributing to the scientific knowledge base
Salary: Competitive Private Sector Salary – Circa £120k-£150k + Bonus
What We’re Looking For:
- Specialist GMC Registration (essential)
- Medical degree with full GMC license to practice
- CCT in Histopathology (or equivalent qualification)
- FRCPath or equivalent
- Broad experience across histopathological diagnosis
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary scientific teams
