We have been assigned by one of the UK's most prestigious NHS Trusts to assist in recruiting a Consultant in Emergency Medicine on either a Substantive or NHS Fixed Term basis for 12 months to join their successful A&E department.

Role Responsibilities
- Maintain high clinical standards in patient assessment and treatment within the Emergency Department (ED).
- Manage day-to-day operations of a busy ED, including reception, resuscitation, diagnosis, and initial treatment of patients.
- Deliver teaching to medical staff, nurses, ENPs, ACPs, and medical students, and participate in medical and clinical audits.
- Oversee clinical care of patients in the Clinical Observation and Decision Unit.
- Develop specialist interests within the department's remit.
- Contribute to postgraduate training, continuing medical education, and supervise junior medical staff.
- Communicate with GPs and outside agencies regarding patient care, department use, and urgent issues.
- Participate in clinical governance, audit, and Major Incident Procedures.
