We’re currently supporting a large University Health Board in South Wales seeking a Consultant Haematologist to join an established team of consultants delivering comprehensive haematology services across a well-resourced network.
Highlights of the role:
- Join an established consultant team within a major regional haematology service
- Subspecialty focus ideally in Myeloid, alongside general haematology practice
- Access to modern laboratory infrastructure with specialist services including flow cytometry, coagulation and haemato-oncology diagnostics
- Participation in a regional bone marrow transplant programme with a dedicated transplant unit performing 50 procedures annually
- Academic links with a leading UK university medical school, with opportunities for teaching, research and clinical trials
- 1:7 consultant on-call rota
- Approx. 60 new and 200 follow-up patients annually
- Flexible job planning within a 10 PA consultant contract
- Salary Range: £110,240 to £160,951 a year, per annum, pro rata
