Triple West Medical have been appointed by an NHS Trust based in the home counties area to help recruit a Consultant Gastroenterologist for a substantive or fixed-term contract. The Trust is one of the largest general hospital foundation trusts in the country and the main provider of acute and specialist care services for the region. With multiple sites, the Trust employs over 4500 staff and serves around 1m people.
The department provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services for patients with GI and liver diseases. In addition to general gastroenterology, they offer a specialist hepatology service, IBD service, and hospital nutrition support team. They are now looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic Consultant Gastroenterologist as part of departmental expansion and continued development of specialised services.
The postholder will support clinical and managerial leadership within the Gastroenterology service with the present consultants. This role will focus on delivering endoscopy procedures and outpatient clinics for 2WW, routine, urgent, and specialist gastroenterology patients.
