Triple West Medical have been appointed by an NHS Trust based in the East Midlands to help recruit a Consultant Gastroenterologist for a substantive or fixed term contract. The Trust is one of the largest employers in the area and are on an exciting journey. The successful candidate will join the friendly team with this post further enhancing the existing level of specialty expertise and allow further development of gastroenterology and endoscopy services in the hospital.
Responsibilities
The postholder will be expected to deliver outpatient gastroenterology care to the local patients through regular clinics, currently based within the hospital and a nearby community site. As their local STP develops they should be prepared to deliver this care flexibly and in line with the growth of more community based care for chronic conditions. They will be supported in this outpatient care by a comprehensive team of specialist nurses.
