The predicted salary is between 72000 - 100000 £ per year.
An opportunity has arisen for a doctor to be part of a fantastic respiratory team at a Hospital situated in the South East of England. This is a substantive post; however, candidates wishing to apply for a fixed-term role will also be considered.
This is one of the most improved trusts in England in 2018 for their patient flow with their current wait performance of 4 hours. The Hospitals’ readmission rates are below their peer group, and their trust mortality rates are well below both expected figures and also their wider peer group.
Our client is looking for a forward-thinking, enthusiastic candidate to join the team and work to deliver consultant-led, efficient, safe and patient-centred best practice in Respiratory and General Medicine.
The department consists of 9 consultants, 4 lung cancer nurses, 2 TB nurses, 2 respiratory physiologists and the Regional East Sussex Pulmonary Service (RESPS) which is a multi-disciplinary team of respiratory nurses, physiotherapists and support workers providing integrated respiratory services.
Our client is particularly interested in candidates with an interest in difficult asthma, interstitial lung disease or Bronchiectasis. Other interests that complement those of the existing consultants would also be welcome.
The hospital is based in a beautiful location with many areas of outstanding natural beauty that includes the medieval heathland and forests of the High Weald. It is often referred to as ‘The Sunshine Coast’, being regularly top of the UK list for locations that enjoy the most hours of sunshine in the UK.
