An exciting position has arisen for a Consultant Radiologist with an interest in Breast Imaging to join a renowned NHS Hospital's Radiology Department.
- Permanent position based in Greater Manchester

- GMC Specialist Registration Required OR you must be within six months of obtaining CCT
Our client is eagerly seeking an experienced Consultant Radiologist with an interest in breast imaging to join the Radiology Department during its current expansion plans. The successful candidate must have wide experience in routine diagnostic radiological procedures, medical ultrasounds and CT. You will be required to work closely with 6 existing Consultants to provide an effective Radiology Service to the hospital and will be responsible for the functioning of the department. You will work alongside the Consultants to professionally supervise and manage junior medical staff. The Department houses the X-Ray departments as well as the Ultrasound Unit. The Department has state of the art equipment and facilities that have recently been installed.
The position offers an excellent basic salary of £75,249 - £101,451 (depending on experience) and offers banding payments. You will be rewarded with pay enhancements for any out of hours work that you do. You will be automatically enrolled onto the NHS Superannuation Scheme.
