Our client located just off the South Coast of England is looking for a Consultant who specialises in Older Persons Mental Health to join their incredible team.

The hospital is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty and a variety of distinctive landscapes that are waiting to be explored. Located only 2 hours away from London via ferry or hovercraft, this location is a favourite for many UK residents and tourists to relax and unwind.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be working within the Memory Service, with patients with dementia and their carers and also within the Community Mental Health Service, Home Treatment Service and inpatient wards, in the assessment and management of older people with functional and organic illness.

  • Full GMC Registration with License to Practice (ESSENTIAL)
  • In depth professional knowledge acquired through post-graduate study
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
  • A management style that empowers others and evidence of successfully driving a learning coaching culture for all staff in your area of control.

Additional Information

  • Single accommodation is available to rent in a modern residential block on site and family accommodation is subject to availability.
  • Applicants should be S12 approved and have Approved Clinician status, or be willing to work towards this.
