We’re supporting a leading private diagnostics organisation in securing a highly skilled Consultant Cellular Pathologist to join an expanding team at the forefront of personalised medicine and biomarker development.

You’ll work as part of a respected Cellular Pathology team responsible for:

  • Detailed histopathological and cytopathological examination of tissue samples
  • Reporting and presenting findings to internal project teams and external partners
  • Supporting development and validation of novel biomarker assays used in drug discovery
  • Maintaining compliance with GCP and laboratory accreditation standards
  • Advising on specimen quality and contributing to continuous service improvement
  • Optional involvement in clinical research, publications, and client meetings
  • Mentoring colleagues and contributing to the scientific knowledge base

Salary: Competitive Private Sector Salary – Circa £120k-£150k + Bonus

What We’re Looking For:

  • Specialist GMC Registration (essential)
  • Medical degree with full GMC license to practice
  • CCT in Histopathology (or equivalent qualification)
  • FRCPath or equivalent
  • Broad experience across histopathological diagnosis
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary scientific teams
