Triple West Medical is seeking an experienced Consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery to join a friendly and expanding OMFS team serving a population of approximately 850,000 across Yorkshire.
The Role
- Provide comprehensive OMFS services across the region
- Inpatient work based at the main Hospital sites with outpatient and day case activity at peripheral sites
- Participate in the 1:7 consultant on-call rota
- Contribute to established regional services including facial skin cancer surgery, Head and neck oncology and Orthognathic surgery with MDT and 3D planning
- Work collaboratively with Orthodontics, ENT, Dermatology, Ophthalmology and Restorative Dentistry
Teaching & Development
- Teaching opportunities with the local Medical School
- Involvement in training junior doctors and specialty trainees
- Participation in research, audit and service development encouraged
- Opportunities to develop subspecialist interests
Applicants Must
- Hold full GMC registration
- Be eligible for GDC registration
- Be on the GMC Specialist Register for OMFS (or within 6 months of CCT/CESR)
