We have been assigned by one of the UK’s more prestigious NHS Trusts to help them recruit a Consultant in Gastro on either a Substantive or an NHS Fixed Term basis for 12 months to join their successful Gastro department. Responsibilities
- Undertake high quality diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower GI endoscopy.
- Participate in the provision of a high quality out‑patient Gastroenterology service, including patient administration.
- Attend the weekly multidisciplinary meetings and monthly governance meetings.
- Contribute to the General Medicine educational programme, including weekly departmental meetings and teaching, and act as the joint educational and clinical supervisor for SpRs in Gastroenterology.
- Attend and actively participate in the regular gastroenterology governance meetings.
