Applications are invited for a Consultant who specialises in Dermatology to join a busy, innovative and friendly team at a Trust based in the beautiful countryside. This is an ambitious trust and their vision is to care for their patients as if they are one of their family members. Serving a population of approximately 220,000, the Hospital has enjoyed a successful history; trusted and respected by their patients, staff and commissioners.
The Trust runs a highly-successful quality improvement initiative, aiming to drive innovation with patient-centred thinking. The Hospital currently provides a broad spectrum of outpatient activity including general adult and paediatric Dermatology and skin cancer services. Narrowband UVB phototherapy is provided at this Hospital, and a local community Hospital. PUVA and photodynamic therapy are available locally. There is support for the development of sub-specialty interests to augment their local service.
Applicants must be fully registered with the GMC with a license to practice. Applicants must have entry on the GMC Specialist Register in Dermatology via CCT (proposed CCT date must be within 6 months of the interview date), CESR or European Community Rights. For candidates who reside abroad, you must have completed the necessary language test (IELTS / OET / NARIC) before applying. You must be able to satisfy the language test requirements of the UKVI remit.
Additional Information: You will join our Dermatology team of 3 Consultants, 1 Advanced Nurse Practitioner, 2 Nurse Specialists, 2 Nurse Specialist Trainees, 2 Hospital Practitioners and 1 Trainee Hospital Practitioner.
