NHS CONSULTANT GERONTOLOGY VACANCY – LONDON

We have the following Consultant Gerontology vacancy at one of London\’s more prestigious NHS Trusts. They are happy to consider both Substantive Consultants and NHS Fixed Term Locum Consultants to join their successful Clinical Gerontology department. This is a dynamic department with a strong track record in delivering innovative pathways of care, high quality multi-professional training and academic research. Our client is in a privileged position having been a key partner in developing integrated older people\’s services across health and social care and the third sector over recent years. A partner of the Academic Health Sciences Centre, it offers unique opportunities to improve services underpinned by cutting edge research. The Trust operates an integrated approach to General Medicine and Geriatric Medicine with a mix of geriatric acute beds but also dedicated specialty beds for the care of the more complex older adult. Opportunities exist for other sub-specialty interests to be accommodated and our client would strongly support academic research interests. This is the perfect opportunity to join one of London\’s more prestigious NHS Trusts. Our client offers the best of both worlds when it comes to location. It\\\’s close proximity with excellent transport links into Central London as well as its leafy suburban feel. It is a great location for families and anyone that would enjoy a calmer pace and “town life” while benefiting from all the amenities of the capital.
