Triple West Medical have been assigned by an NHS Trust based in the West of England to help them recruit Consultant Gastroenterologist on either a Substantive or 12 month NHS Fixed Term basis. Our client is a “Vanguard” site which identifies them as one of the most innovative Trusts in the country and gives them unique access to national support and funding to realise their exciting plans for the future.
This is a great opportunity to join a high performing and clinically driven Acute Hospital. The appointee will join an existing team of 4 Consultants, becoming the 5th in the team, supported by six specialist nurses who support a wide range of Gastroenterology conditions including I.B.D, Hepatology, Substance Misuse, Nutrition and Upper GI conditions. The Trust is also working with partners to develop a new day surgery which will include a new Endoscopy department providing world class care to patients.
This is an 11 PA contract with the job plan to be agreed with the Clinical Director. There will also be a General Medicine on-call expected to be every 3 weeks.
