NHS HOSPITAL – CONSULTANT GASTROENTEROLOGIST VACANCY
Our JAG accredited client has a new substantive or fixed term vacancy for a Consultant Gastroenterologist. This is a newly created post as the team grows from 4 Consultants to 5 within a JAG accredited department and will be based at a Hospital which boasts an excellent Gastroenterology Service and has easy access links to the City of London with train journeys to the city center of London only lasting 35 minutes.
This vacancy comes at an exciting time for our client as it has formed a partnership with other neighbouring Trusts enabling them all to provide joint Acute Services in a catchment area with a population of over 1 million making dramatic improvements to patient care and access.
The department is developing Hepatology Services and demand has already increased for Bowel Screening. Endoscopy On-Calls will also be part of the job plan.
