Consultant Paediatrician with Special Interest in Neonatology Are you looking for a fresh start?
Our client based in North Wales has an opportunity available for a Consultant Paediatrician with Special Interest in Neonatology.
You could become part of a team who is committed to promoting equality and diversity in their unique new sub-regional neonatal intensive care unit (Su RNICC).
The successful applicant will be expected to take a full share in the 1:7 designated non-resident sole neonatal consultant on call rota.
The unit is supported by a neonatal Tier 1 rota as well as a group of 5 ANNPs and paediatric tier 2 cover.
The posts are suitable for candidates with a neonatal CCT as well as general paediatricians with a special neonatal interest.
The appointee must have the following to be eligible for this post:• Full GMC registration (ESSENTIAL)• MRCPCH or equivalent• CCT in paediatrics (with an interest in neonatology) - on the Specialist Register plus substantial experience or training of at least 2 years in the field of neonatology• Experience of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching• Working as part of the management team• Experience of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching Additional Information The successful applicant will be on a 10 session Consultant contract.
A job plan will be agreed according to the expertise of the successful applicants subject to annual review with the local Clinical Director.

The post holder will also be offered a wide range of opportunities to take on additional PAs from Prison clinics to the Section 136 rota that operates within the Trust.
