CONSULTANT HISTOPATHOLOGY VACANCY – EAST MIDLANDS We are recruiting a Consultant Histopathologist on a substantive or 12 month NHS Fixed Term Contract. Our client is based in the East Midlands in an old market town set in an attractive countryside with easy access to other medical centres such as Oxford, Cambridge, Leicester, Birmingham, Northampton and London. Vacancy Information The appointee will join an existing team of Histopathologists. Each of the Consultants has a special area of interest and if the new appointee has a specialist area arrangements will be made to accommodate this. The post-holder will be required to participate in the histology and diagnostic cytology service. There is no Gynae cytology service on site. Participation in post mortems is optional. The development of special interest will be encouraged and the appointee will be expected to take a lead in an area of cancer work. The post-holder will be required to participate in training and education plus audit activities and relevant quality assurance schemes. If you wish to be considered, please kindly send me your CV.
